Thanksgiving: The Parade Company

A number of years ago, the Wanderer joined a group photography tour of The Parade Company, a studio and warehouse that produces and stores the floats, costumes, and paper mache 'big' heads that appear each year in America's Thanksgiving Parade, presented by Gardner-White in downtown Detroit. The parade has been staged each year since 1924 and is a delightful way to kick off the holiday season, especially with young children. Here are some favorite, familiar faces.
